Work history

In December of 2013 I started a web internship with Neuger Communications Group, a communications and public relations firm based in Northfield, MN, and in March of 2014 I accepted a full-time position as a web and graphics specialist. In my time there I built wide variety of web projects as well as illustrations and designs for both print and web.

In May of 2015 I changed firms and began working as a front end developer with fjorge, before being promoted to a senior developer in April of 2017. As a developer I created interactive and engaging websites for clients with an emphasis on clean code and exceptional usability. In July of 2017 my role at fjorge expanded into project management and solutions architecture, leading a team of 6 front end developers.

Taking a break from agency life I did a year as a senior design technologist with Ameriprise Financial, starting in that role in May of 2018. As a design technologist I worked with engineers and designers to implement UI components across Ameriprise’s public websites and secure client applications, as well as develop and maintain Ameriprise’s component library.

Currently I am the Web and Creative Team Lead for Gruen Agency, a digital marketing firm located in the north loop of Minneapolis. I lead a team of designers and developers that works with a variety of clients to optimize their website’s SEO and conversion funnels.
